*
$100 to the ICC house with the highest percentage of submissions
When
is the deadline?
Contest
ends Saturday November 15th at noon.
Who
can participate?
One entry per person.
Send your best design. We will know at registration if
someone enters
more than one design. Participation is restricted to ICC
members and
alumni. Alumni participation does not count towards the ICC
house with the highest
percentage of submissions.
Can
I design anything?
Anything that relates to this year's theme of
"Community and Cooperation."
How
do I submit my design?
Download the entry form here. Submit
a hard copy to the ICC office at 2305 Nueces 78705 (Nueces/23rd). The
office is open
Mon-Thurs 9-5, Fri 9-4. The winner will be contacted to email
a digital design for
printing. If you can't make it to the office, you can
email a .jpeg to Jenn at jnorthern@iccaustin.coop
with subject heading "ICC
t-shirt contest.
Be aware that your design will not be considered for
judging if you
send your artwork digitally to Jenn after 4pm on
Friday Nov
14
(she leaves the office at 4pm on Fridays and does not work Saturdays.)
Where
do I put my name and house affiliation on the submission form?
You
don't. This is a blind voting process whereby neither your name nor your
house affiliation should be
anywhere on your design. Each design will be
assigned a number
that matches your personal information at the time of
registration. Please
follow this guideline to help us ensure blind voting.
How
do will you know who submitted a design?
Register
your name, house affiliation, and contact info in the ICC office
when you drop off your
artwork so we can contact you.
Who
determines the winner?
First,
the Membership Committee (9 Membership Officers and 2 Board members)
determines the
winning design. Next, voting members of ICC Board (9 Board
Reps
+ 2 alumni) determine if the winning design receives funding. Then it
goes to production.
Can
the people voting for the designs enter in the t-shirt contest?
Yes,
but they must abstain on (cannot vote for/against) their own design.
